Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 1, 2026
LaunchEngine ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit launchengine.com (the "Site") or use our services. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact form — company name, business website, email address, phone number, property management services offered, number of doors managed, workflows of interest, Monday.com account status, referral source, and any additional notes.
- Quote builder request form — company website, pricing and fee structure, email address, and any additional notes.
- Scheduling — when you book a call through Calendly, that platform collects your name, email, and any information you provide during scheduling.
Information collected automatically
- Log and usage data — your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and date/time of access. This data is collected by our hosting provider (Netlify) and any analytics tools we enable.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the services you request — quote builders, operational workspaces, CRM templates, and consulting engagements.
- Respond to inquiries and follow up on form submissions.
- Store and manage leads and project data in our internal workspace (Monday.com).
- Improve the Site, our tools, and our service offerings.
- Analyze how visitors find and use the Site (referral source, pages visited).
- Send occasional updates about LaunchEngine — you can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us.
- Prevent spam and abuse (e.g., honeypot fields on forms).
3. Client Pricing Data
When you submit your pricing or fee structure through the quote builder request form, that data is treated as confidential business information. Specifically:
- Your pricing data is stored in a secured Monday.com workspace accessible only to LaunchEngine personnel working on your engagement.
- We do not share, aggregate, publish, benchmark, or make your pricing data visible to any other company, client, or third party.
- Our team does not reference or use any client's pricing data when building tools for other clients.
- Each quote builder engagement is independent and isolated.
4. Data We Process on Behalf of Clients
When a property management company uses LaunchEngine's integration services (e.g., our PM Operating System), we process data from their property management software (such as Buildium, AppFolio, or RentVine) on their behalf. In this context, our client is the data controller and LaunchEngine acts as a data processor.
Categories of data we may process include:
- Property owner information — name, home address, email address, phone number.
- Tenant information — name, home address, email address, phone number.
- Rental applicant information — name, contact details, application status.
- Vendor information — name, contact details, service records.
- Property and unit data — addresses, unit details, listing information.
- Lease and financial data — lease terms, transaction records, outstanding balances, work orders.
This data is processed solely to deliver the integration service our client requested. It is not used for marketing, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the client's engagement. Each client's data is stored in isolated environments and is not accessible by other clients. Data is transmitted via SSL/TLS encryption and stored on secured servers in the United States (see Section 6 for sub-processors).
If you are a tenant, property owner, vendor, or applicant whose data is processed through our platform, your property management company is the data controller. Please direct any data access, correction, or deletion requests to your property management company. We will cooperate with our clients to fulfill such requests.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — third-party platforms that help us operate (listed in Section 6). They process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your consent — for any purpose you explicitly authorize.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Heroku (Salesforce) — application hosting, database storage, and API processing for our integration services. Client data (including PII described in Section 4) is stored encrypted at rest using SSL in the United States. Heroku Compliance.
- Monday.com — we store form submissions, manage client project data, and deliver operational workspaces in Monday.com. Client PMS data synced through our integration is stored in isolated Monday.com workspaces. Monday.com Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — website hosting, form submission processing and storage, and CDN delivery. Netlify may collect server logs including IP addresses. Netlify Privacy Policy.
- Buildium / AppFolio / RentVine — property management software platforms. When clients use our integration, we access their PMS data via API to sync it with their Monday.com workspace. Each platform's own privacy policy governs data within their systems.
- Calendly — scheduling demo calls. When you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and scheduling preferences. Calendly Privacy Policy.
- BugSnag — error monitoring and crash reporting for our integration services. May capture technical request metadata for debugging purposes.
- YouTube — our Site links to video content hosted on YouTube. If you click through to YouTube, Google's privacy policy governs your interaction with that platform.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. We are not responsible for their data practices.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site may use cookies — small text files stored on your device — and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. These may include:
- Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., form submission handling).
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, referral source, time on site).
- Third-party cookies — our hosting provider (Netlify) and any embedded third-party services may set their own cookies.
Most browsers allow you to control or block cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on the Site. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no industry-standard protocol for compliance.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our internal tools, and limiting personnel access to client data on a need-to-know basis. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:
- Form submissions — retained for the duration of the business relationship and up to 3 years after last contact, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Client pricing data — retained only for the duration of the quote builder engagement and deleted upon request.
- Server logs — retained by Netlify per their standard retention schedule.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data.

- Opt-out of communications — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

11. California Privacy Rights

- Right to know — you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete — you may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt-out of sale — we do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

12. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
13. International Data Transfers
Our Site is hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
